The Florida sun is hot. Even on overcast days, without proper protection you will burn. Limit your exposure at first, to build a base tan. ALWAYS use a lotion. Atleast use an SPF 30, and get a tan.

Wear a hat, sunglasses. Protect the kids. If you do this you will have a very enjoyable vacation and go back home with a great tan!
